Grounded in the Ontario Curriculum, our courses empower students to explore diverse texts, express themselves clearly, and engage with the world around them. From foundational reading and writing in the early grades to advanced literary analysis, media literacy, and research in senior-level courses, our program prepares students for academic success and active citizenship. Through novels, plays, poetry, non-fiction, and digital media, students gain an appreciation for diverse voices and develop the literacy skills essential for post-secondary education and the modern workplace.
